Common Exception Word lists- Year 1 and 2

The file attached below contains the Common Exception Word lists for Year 1 and 2. 

In class we talk about how we use these words alot in our writing, but they don't follow the phonics rules we learn and are tricky words! They don't sound like they are spelt! 

We practise them regulalry in class and you can support in learning these words at home too. They will be sent as homework tasks throughout the year as well as other spellings.
